New hotel; Spotlesly clean large room; Shower, bed, air con etc. all worked exactly as they should; Friendly staff, good hotel restaurant. Good location at the edge of the old town, just few minutes walk from the path leading to the wineyards and castle.
Stone floors and shining metal gave hotel a bit sterile appearance. Also room was stuffed full of buttons and gadgets, reminiscent of electronics trade show. Breakfast was otherwise excellent but lacked vegatables.

It was the kind of experience that had one surprise after another. Just look carefully at the floor in the main dining room for example. Superb food. It is by far the best hotel I have staying in in the Heielberg area. More intimate and rewarding then say the Marriott, and more luxurious then Weiser Bock. In a super small town complete with castle, vineyards and picturesque old town. You dont need anything more to enjoy a stay here.
Not much! I am trying to think of anything, and all I can think of is to have a more international flavour to the tv, some non German news papers perhaps.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Beautiful (new, 03/2011) hotel, restaurant, breakfast area and rooms. Excellent breakfast. Unfortunately no 'normal' cheese for our son, but if we stayed another night the staff would have taken care of it the next morning. The room was warm, but if we told the front desk they could have turned the airco on/turned down the heater. There was a nice note and a bottle of water on the room. Free wifi in the restaurant/breakfast area. The hotel staff did not notice our request for an extra bed for our son, but that was no problem. We got a more expensive and larger room at no extra costs.

We liked absolutely everything!
That the church bells rang intensively and close at 06.30 on a Saturday morning!

The hotel was modern, clean and beautifully renovated. The staff were terrific and the location in the centre of town was perfect. Only 300metres from the tram to Heidelberg, I would recommend this hotel to everyone.

Vriendelijk personeel, mooie design kamers.
Te warme kamer (zelfs in koude aprildagen) en openzetten raam onmogelijk vanwege zeer drukke weg (veel lawaai). Airco moet vaak aanstaan. Design tv, maar enkel Duitse zenders, zelfs geen Britse of Franse.
